Our Story
A dream born from art and love for children Little Tribe Daycare was born from my passion for education and creativity.
As a preschool and art teacher, I started a painting club where children explored the world through colors and imagination. Over time, I realized they needed a space where they were not only cared for but also stimulated in a holistic way. Thus, Little Tribe Daycare was born, a place where every child can grow surrounded by love, learn through play, and develop their creativity naturally.
Today, we are more than a daycare; we are a community where every little one is valued, supported, and encouraged to discover the world with curiosity and confidence.
About Ms. Soraya
Hi, I'm a preschool teacher, art educator, and integral designer with roots in Venezuela and Spain, now proudly living in California. As a mom of two boys and an experienced caregiver, I bring both personal and professional insight into early childhood development.

Teaching young children has always been my passion. I believe in creating environments that are organized, nurturing, and full of joy places where little ones feel safe to explore, play, and grow. I love watching children learn through play and discovery, and I’m honored to guide them as they develop and find their own unique voice.

My first career as a designer helps me bring creativity into the classroom through hands-on activities and inspiring interior design.
​
I have designed 3 unique learning environments based on the Montessori method, blending creativity with function.
Thanks to this training, I’ve created a harmonious and functional atmosphere that stimulates exploration, learning, and independence in young children.

Healthy Meals
Homemade, wholesome meals for growing kids.
At Little Tribe Daycare, we serve fresh, homemade meals and snacks daily to support healthy growth and development. Our menus feature fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins—all thoughtfully prepared to meet each child’s age and dietary needs.
We participate in the KidKare Food Program, following California’s nutritional guidelines and offering portion sizes tailored to young children.

We honor cultural and dietary preferences, and families are welcome to send their own food if desired. Our regular start time is 8:30 a.m., and mealtimes are adjusted based on each child’s arrival.

Meal Schedule:
Opening- 8:30 a.m.
Morning Snack – 9:45 a.m.
Lunch – 11:45 a.m.
Dinner – 4:45 p.m.
